Skillup Mississippi Valley is an amazing resource. There are so many options to learn a new skill.
I cannot believe how easy the platform is to use. I have taken at least 6-8 courses and really like it.

I have not used the training site recently, but when I do use it, I prefer to read and find the printed version of the trainings helpful for different learning styles.
The site is easy to navigate and offers quality training that I would recommend to employers interested in investing in their workforce and individuals seeking to learn or develop new skills.

For nonprofits, budgets are always tight with as many of the funds generated as possible being directed to the core mission of the nonprofit. This leaves little extra money to provide support and benefits to employees. The Skillup program has provided an extremely valuable resource to our agency by providing an opportunity for our employees to not only better themselves through education but also strengthen our agency with the new skills that they have learned.
The best part for us is that there is absolutely no cost to the agency which allows us to grow internally without impacting the funds that are directed towards the much-needed services that we provide.
Another bonus is that the program is extremely easy to use as an administrator and a user. I can easily select and distribute programs to my employees, track their progress, and customize their plan by choosing from thousands of programs that suit their needs.
We have several employees utilizing the various programs and the feedback that I have received has been overwhelmingly positive. Great work Mississippi Valley Workforce Development Board!

I have been using Skillup Mississippi Valley for a bit and love that I can get free crash courses on things I need a refresher on and so much more. It has been a useful tool for me, and I am still hoping to get the whole shop aboard at some point!

I have been learning Excel on the Skillup Mississippi Valley website that you guys provided. It is really easy to follow, and it starts at the very basics. I am learning a lot!
So far I have completed: Scheduling with Appointments, Events and Tasks in Outlook, Excel 2019 for Windows, Getting Started and Excel 2019 for Windows, Creating and Saving Workbooks. I will be starting the next Excel videos tomorrow.
There is a large assortment to choose from including videos on working on yourself. The excel learnings that I have taken so far are so easy to follow. There is even a script that you can print out to go along with the video (although there is a lot of extra wording showing how they are following in the video).
The biggest downside to this website is once I pick the learnings (I picked a lot) they all lumped together on multiple pages and I have to sort through to find them. I wish they could lump them by category and you could click on that category to expand. That is just a preference.
For now, this is the easiest learning that I have found to help improve my skills.
